In Episode 6, we talk to Transit Method, a band from Austin, TX that brings together the complexities of progressive rock with the unrefined grit of grunge and heavy metal. They recently released their sophomore record, The Madness, on Brutal Panda Records drawing comparisons to the likes of Soundgarden, Rush, The Mars Volta, and Motorhead. They’ve also been described as “a powerfully epic combination of punk, metal, and dynamic vocals calling to mind some of the more truly epic moments of Jane’s Addiction’s ‘Ritual de lo Habitual'” (PunkNews). The Austin Chronicle ranked their first LP, We Won’t Get Out Of Here Alive in their Top 10 albums of 2017, and the single “Snake Wine” was rated the #1 song on Australia’s “You Heard This?” podcast. They’ve performed across the United States in over 25 cities, including events such as the F1 Festival, and have shared the stage with the likes of The Sword, Consider The Source, Boogarins, Adelita’s Way, Flaw, Rishloo and Hikes.
