With influences like Megadeth and Dream Theatre, Victoria’s Vincent’s Betrayal lives up to its metal icons. The progressive metal band’s first album, “Deconstructing the Machine,” was released by Stout City Records. Some of the songs, like “Enslaved by Numbers,” have guitar melodies disrupted by heavy breakdowns while others, like “The Oasis,” slow down and showcase the harmonizing of instruments.
